of God, Reverend Joyce combines prayer and faith with her joyful energy and love of people
to help others to awaken to the presence and power of God within and transform their
lives.
Reverend Joyce has been a New Thought Unity Truth
Student for 25 years. Before moving to Richmond in 2000, she served as the part-time
leader at Unity Center Las Cruces in New Mexico from 1995-1998 while working full time as
a fund-raiser in El Paso, TX. She has been published in the October, 1999, issue of
Unity Magazine.
Reverend Joyce has been the guest speaker at the following Unity churches:· Christ Unity
Church of Topeka, KS; Unity by the Sea, Corpus Christi, TX; Unity of Oklahoma
City, OK; Unity of Joplin, MO; First Unity Church of Positive Living, El Paso,
TX; Unity of Bay City, MI
Prior to entering the ministry, her professional
experience included serving as Director of Public Relations & Financial
Development & Education for the Humane Society of El Paso, El Paso, TX, and 17
years as Director of Public Relations & Volunteer Services at two major El Paso
hospitals.
Reverend Joyce is a graduate of Unity School of
Religious Studies Ministerial Education Program located at Unity School of Christianity,
Unity Village, MO. She was ordained as a Unity minister by the Association of Unity
Churches, Lee's Summit, MO.
She has a BA in Journalism from the University of Texas
at El Paso and is a Registered Nurse and graduate of the Youngstown Hospital
Association School of Nursing affiliated with Youngstown University.
